The Low-Country Messiahs are an ambient blues ensemble from Lowell, Massachusetts, active since 2003. The group was founded by former Sub Pop recording artist Green Magnet School drummer Robert Hamilton and guitarist Brian Watkins. The music features home-made cigar box guitars and primitive, minimal percussion. The Low-Country Messiahs made their live debut in 2004 as the opening act for Seekonk. Other appearances have included supporting Ditty Bops and Blanche. The group has released two albums on the Pincushion Star label. Hamilton appears in "Songs Inside the Box", a PBS documentary by film maker Max Shores. ==Discography== Albums: *''Festival'' (Pincushion Star) 2004 *''Biscuit Palace'' (Pincushion Star) 2006 Other: * "Mourner's Bench" on ''The 3rd Annual Cigar Box Guitar Extravaganza'' - CD (Flying Monkey Arts) 2007 * "Goofer Dust" on ''Masters of the Cigar Box Guitar, Volume 2'' - CD (Insurrection/Dark Holler Records) 2007 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Low-Country Messiahs」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
